Olympic gold medalist Michael Phelps (Baltimore, Md.) claimed the gold in the 400y IM Sunday night at the Southern California Grand Prix in Long Beach, Calif. Phelps held off Japan’s Hidemasa Sano in the final race of the night to take home his second gold medal of the meet.
