NEW YORK (AP) — Shares of some top gold companies are mixed at 10 a.m.: Barrick Gold fell $.12 or .3 percent, to $40.89. Gold Fields rose $.01 or .1 percent, to $14.01. Goldcorp fell $.16 or .4 percent, to $40.69. Newmont Mining rose $.37 or .7 percent, to $52.06.
